Ideal for small offices, recording studios, retail applications, classrooms, and more, this acoustic server rack features special foam sound-dampening baffles built into the front and rear doors and side panels. These baffles reduce acoustic levels by up to 28 decibels, creating a calmer atmosphere that encourages productivity. Not only does this rack provide a quiet environment, but it also secures and organizes your rack equipment.
With 18U of space, it accommodates all EIA-standard 19-inch rack-mount equipment up to 45 inches deep. Constructed from heavy-duty steel with a durable black powder-coated finish and a professional MDF overlay, it seamlessly fits into any room décor. The unique airflow design of this server cabinet ensures maximum performance by drawing in cool air through the bottom panel intake. It then passes the air horizontally through the enclosure and uses ten built-in electric fans to push warm air out through the side panels.
Two vertically mounted fan banks plug into a six-outlet 15A power strip, leaving four outlets open for connecting equipment or accessories. The power strip connects to a standard 120V AC outlet. Security is a priority with the Tripp Lite Soundproof Rack Enclosure. The split front and rear doors lock securely, preventing damage, tampering, or theft.
Additionally, a convenient cable brush strip on the bottom panel allows for easy cable routing while keeping dust and debris out. Designed for immediate deployment and equipment installation, this rack cabinet ships fully assembled. It comes with pre-installed casters that allow for easy maneuverability through standard doorways. Once in position, it can be secured using the included shipping bracket.
The square mounting holes and numbered rack spaces make equipment installation a breeze, and the vertical mounting rails adjust in 3/8-inch increments to accommodate equipment up to 45 inches deep.
