This entry-level residential irrigation controller is designed to operate up to 6 irrigation control valves, including a master valve or pump start. One of the standout features of the 8006 AC-6 is its large, easy-to-program LCD screen and four buttons, making programming a breeze.
The controller offers ultimate flexibility in scheduling with independent programming for each valve and the ability to operate two valves simultaneously. You can program the controller by day of the week or set it to daily/weekly cycles, with irrigation durations as short as 1 minute or as long as 12 hours. With the available sensor input, you can use a rain sensor, soil moisture sensor, or other sensors to conserve water.
The sensor input can be assigned to individual valves, allowing you to prevent irrigation in areas that are exposed to rain, such as your lawn, while still providing water to areas that are not exposed, like a covered patio. Monthly water budgeting is another great feature of this irrigation controller. You can adjust the irrigation from 10% to 190% to adapt to changing weather conditions and conserve water.
The controller also has a rain delay feature that can be set for up to 30 days and an auto-restart function.
