Model Rectifier Corporation Control & Power Supplies AA370 Editorial Review
The Model Rectifier Corporation Railpower 1370 is a reliable and high-quality transformer for HO electric trains. It offers excellent speed control and is able to run the train at a slow crawl, allowing for precise movements. The unit is powerful enough to handle multiple trains, accessories, and switches with ease. It provides both variable DC output for the locomotive and fixed AC output for accessories. One of the standout features of the Railpower 1370 is its durability. It has a solid build and stays in place during use, ensuring stability and reliability. Additionally, the unit offers good value for money, as it is comparable in quality to other transformers on the market but at a cheaper price. It is worth mentioning that some customers have reported issues with the packaging and shipping of the product. The transformers were shipped in bags, causing the controller to break through the box. However, the units themselves were unharmed. Overall, the Model Rectifier Corporation Railpower 1370 is a great option for HO electric train enthusiasts. It provides the necessary power for smooth operation and offers excellent value for money.
