Paranormal Editorial Review
Hall of Smoke by H.M. Long is an epic fantasy book that is inspired by Viking mythology. The story revolves around a warrior priestess, Hessa, who attempts to regain the favor of her goddess. The author has done an impressive job building the world and the different cultures and religions. The characters are well-developed and the action scenes are written very well. The book may slow down in pace during the second act, but the ending is one of the best in a fantasy novel. If you love worlds filled with deities, humans, Vikings, and action scenes, then Hall of Smoke is a must-read for you.
