Learning Resources Science Kits & Toys LER3838 Editorial Review
The Learning Resources Beaker Creatures Monsterglow Lab is a science kit aimed at children aged five and up. It contains 13 pieces and comes with a booklet that offers basic experiments for children to try. However, the general feedback for this product is mixed. Some customers found it to be an adorable science kit that helps kids feel like real scientists, but others were disappointed. The critical feedback suggests that the manufacturer should have included a dozen capsules as part of the kit so that it glows in the dark. Most of the vitamins recommended to use within the kit may go to waste as they are either hard to find or not required in a household. Some customers found that the experiments didn't work as expected, such as the fizzy egg not fizzing or the slime recipe not creating slime. The cool gooseneck lamp, which comes with the kit, has a tiny bulb that only lights up something pressed against it. Overall, some children enjoyed this science kit, but it may come with additional expenses, including buying extra materials, that may disappoint parents.
